When it comes to dry skin and eczema, it's important to choose skincare products that are gentle, moisturizing, and free from harsh ingredients that can further irritate your skin.

Here are some general guidelines to keep in mind:

Look for products labeled "fragrance-free" or "unscented":
Fragrances can be potential irritants for sensitive skin, so it's best to avoid scented products. Opt for fragrance-free options or those specifically formulated for sensitive skin.
Choose mild and moisturizing cleansers:
Look for gentle cleansers that are free from harsh chemicals, such as sulfates and fragrances. Consider using non-soap cleansers or mild bars that help retain moisture and protect the skin's natural barrier.
Moisturize regularly:
Keeping your skin hydrated is crucial. Look for moisturizers that are specifically formulated for dry and sensitive skin. Avoid moisturizers with heavy fragrances or alcohol.
Be cautious with exfoliation:
Exfoliation can be beneficial for removing dead skin cells, but it's important to be gentle. Avoid harsh physical scrubs and opt for chemical exfoliants with mild concentrations of ingredients like salicylic acid or lactic acid. Start with a patch test before applying it to your entire face.
Patch test new products:
Before trying out new skincare products, it's a good idea to perform a patch test. Apply a small amount of the product to a small area of your skin and observe for any adverse reactions or irritation over 24 to 48 hours.

I have sensitive skin and often experience irritation when using a heavily fragranced soap from the supermarket. Your handmade soap is gentle on my skin and I’ve never experienced any irritation. Thank you for doing such a great job!

Love your article. My son suffers from eczema to the point he is so inflamed and swollen from head to toe. I have tried everything over the counter and nothing worked and so tired of all the prescriptions. Through all the trials of different products, some my son would cry and scream that it would hurt and burn. Can’t wait to try your products!!!! Thank you
